Clare Waight Keller Replaces Hannah MacGibbon at French Label Chloé

Rumors have been flying since the autumn/winter 2011 Chloé snakeskin fashion show that creative director, Hannah MacGibon may not return because her three year contract was up.  While it was said she was signed on for one more season, statements by the French brand released today say MacGibbon's contract was not renewed and replacing her as creative director will be Clare Waight Keller, most known as the turn-around creative director of Pringle of Scotland.

This is effective June 1, 2011 which means the Spring 2012 collection will be our first look at Keller's work for Chloé.  Keller has been applauded for putting Pringle of Scotland into the realm of international luxury wear, and that is the main reason she was hired by Chloé as they are looking to be a more global business.
