Willow Fall 2011 RTW Review

Willow Fall 2011 RTW
Australian designer Kit Willow talked about her Fall 2011 collection and said, "I'm still interested in the connections between humans and animals, but this season, I wanted to explore the very formal way we dress to ride these horses."  What came from this inspiration was a collection of equestrian inspired looks that included structured blazers, tailored riding jackets with raised, fitted armholes, crisp white collared shirts, stretchy leggings, fitted trousers, and draped jodhpurs.  Willow included black leather into her collection as she was also inspired by motorcycle riding.
A teal cropped jacket, white collared shirt, black and white patterned, high-waisted pants, and black wedge booties
A leather cropped jacket, cream and black chiffon patterned blouse, textured leather pants, and black wedge booties
A long black coat with cutouts at the shoulders is worn over a black and cream chiffon dress with black silk accents, and black wedge booties
A billowy, pleated black mini dress that had a high fishnet and frayed collar was paired with brown wedge booties
A matching teal, draped blouse and ankle-length pants with deep pockets was paired with brown wedge booties
A copper and black sequined top was worn here with draped, black jodhpur pants, and black wedge booties

What do you think of this collection?  What pieces do you like best?
