How to pick the right color?
First, brown hair looks good on EVERYONE, you just have to pick the right color.  People with fair skin should stick to warmer browns (honey, copper) because it brightens up your complexion but, stay away from too dark colors because it will make you look too pale.  If you have a medium shade skin tone, chestnut browns are the best for your complexion and adding golden highlights brings out the darker skin tones.  If you have dark skin, natural browns are the best like chocolate brown because it complements your warmer skin tones.

Best Everyday:
John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Shine Release daily shampoo and conditioner .  You want to use a color depositing shampoo and conditioner to bring out dark, rich tones.

Best Hair Gloss:
John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Shine Shock leave-in gloss makes hair extremely smooth and soft and gives it the perfect shine!  Brown hair tends to look dull and flat, so this is the perfect product.

Kim Kardashian's hair looks best super dark with her olive complexion

Sophia Bush's medium skin tone looks best with this chestnut hair color and some mahogany mixed in (love the waves too!)

Amanda Peet's hair is a very natural brown that complements her complexion.  Notice that she does have lighter highlights going through her hair to make it appear more voluminous

Victoria's Secret model, Miranda Kerr, brightens up her face by adding warm highlights
